Seputarsulutnews.Co. Mitra . The second recess period in the second session of 2026 of the Mitra Regency DPRD was held today, Sunday (26/04-2026) by Council member Sifa Butiti S.Ag. The recess activity was held in Borgo Satu Village, Belang District, Mitra Regency, and was officially opened by Belang Sub-district Secretary Karin Hasan representing the sub-district head Reymond Sumual.

The presence of the council members for Electoral District 2 was accompanied by several SKPDs, including the PUPR Mitra Service.

Various proposals submitted by local residents who attended the recess included clean water, connecting roads between villages, and security and guarding with the involvement of the police.

Regarding the proposal, Sifa Butiti, who is also the chairman of Commission Two of the Mitra DPRD, promised to forward it to the relevant parties.

Butiti continued, stating that the residents’ proposals would be championed through the Regional Government Work Units (SKPD) and the police. “I will consider your proposals and then champion them in the upcoming Council session. Furthermore, security in Belang Raya is a priority in collaboration with the Mitra Police,” Butiti said.

Also attending the recess were community leaders from Borgo Satu Village, Village Consultative Body (BPD) officials, and other invited guests. (Fredy)
